Our new season paper daffodils are pure Spring hope in stem form! The joy-spreading and elegant pale yellow daffodil comes as a stem with a fully opened daffodil and another in bud form. Incredibly beautiful on her own, as pairs, or mixed with other flowers in the Willow Crossley X Krishanthi Armitt collection.
 
Our first ever paper flower collection is in collaboration with the incredibly talented Kristhanti Armitt, a creative force with exceptional attention to detail renowned for her fabulous cakes and sugar flowers.

Willow has worked with Krish to create some of her favourite tulips and ranunculus for this beautiful debut Spring collection. There are three tulips in the collection; A show stopping, wild swirly red & white (think Estella Rinjveld meets Flaming Club) ; A fresh, verdant green & white one and a romantic, pink raspberry rippled stripe. And two different ranunculus;  one is the softest pale blush and the other is a white and Ribena-tipped frilly-edged picoteee.  

The stems have been designed to mix happily together as well as looking stunning simply displayed on their own. It’s almost impossible to believe the flowers are not real and yet they are also wonderful as objet d’art in their own right, with a still life decorative appeal providing colour and form at home, whatever the season. The stems and petals can all be gently moved to create whatever shape you desire.  You can of course cut the stems down to size but we suggest thinking about bending them rather than cutting them leaving you more options later down the line!

Taking hours to create each stem with detailed precision from specialised crepe paper by Kristhanti, each stem is approximately 38 cms tall. They work just as beautifully displayed on their own in a single stem vase as they do mixed in big bunches together . Willow loves to use her ribbed stem vases or petal vase trio to display them in down the mantle piece  and our splatter jugs to fill the bathroom with joy.

As with all our handmade unique pieces, slight variations & imperfections may occur during the crafting process which adds to their distinct charm.
